Kannawidan: The Ylocos Festival

 A week-long celebration of Kannawidan Ylocos Festival of Ilocos Sur celebrates its 193rd anniversary of the founding anniversary with a string of activities that expected to draw thousands of domestic and foreign tourists.

Kannawidan Ylocos Festival became an annual festival that aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province' rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products of the province.

This festival is very significant to every resident in the province as they are celebrating the foundation of Ilocos Sur as a province by virtue of the Royal Decree signed on February 2, 1818.

What does it takes to be an ICT student?

  Patience, eagerness to learn,are some of the requirements of learning and dealing with ICT. At first dealing with ICT  feels like it is not enjoyable but as you fo farther you will feel the fun most especially when you are desperate enough to be called a "computer literate." ICT plays a very important rule to a life of a student, mostly when it comes to TECHNOLOGY ANG COMMUNICATION.
  It only takes 2 very important things to be a successful ICT student and that is PERSEVERANCE and HARDWORK. Perseverance to mold you strive harder and hardwork to keep you going.

MY DREAM, MY FUTURE

  "There are no shortcuts to any place worth going." This quotation inspires me to work harder for my own benefits and for my family as well.
  No one wants a misfortune life in the future, rather every one of us dreams for a better and a fruitful life  in the future. Dreaming for the future is like giving colors to your own life, because it serves as a motivation to keep you going and work harder and by hardworking you are actually on your way to success.
  Don't let problems and difficulties ruin your life, bec. it's all part of it, you just have to go with the flow and don't forget that God is watching over you.
  I only have one dream in life and that is to have a crime free society, so that everybody could enjoy life to the fullest.

Change: It starts with me

  Whenever we look or observe the happenings around us, most especially the negative things that is happening, we always end up saying " I WANT CHANGE."
  Making and letting change happen or possible is not as easy as closing your eyes whenever you are sleepy or drowsy, because letting CHANGE happen is a process. It takes a lot of time to make it happen. But every little thing that is in need of change is that, I want to start the change within myself because I believe that if the people around me would see the good effect of that change I made, they would go with the flow and they would follow my footsteps and if that happens PARADISE will exist.
  It's a mission and a big challenge for me to start change and make it happen but I know and I believe that as long as HARD-WORK is concern, nothing is impossible.

"MY REFLECTION"

  It's almost a year since I've entered the world of "blogs and unending tags." Those months that have passed, I learned a lot about blogs and few tags together with their uses.
  During those  days of dealing with different kinds of tags, my forehead was wrinkled with curiosity and even with ignorance because aside from the fact that I don't know them, I am not also familiar with their uses. But of coarse with the help of Ma'am Evelyn I was able to conquer and pass through those curiosity and ignorance of mine.
  Those hardships that I encountered and experienced althrough the year are all worth it. I made and used it as an inspiration to mold myself to strive harder and to keep on learning. And now, I'm happy for I know I am learning as much as I can and SHOULD BE.
  I will never close my doors for knowledge. Problems and challenges may occur on my way but still I will not give up, hence I will strive harder for better future.

"NEW YEAR, NEW ME"

  It's been a practice for us,"Filipinos" making our resolutions during the season of new year. Well, it's all because we want CHANGE.C-H-A-N-G-E for the "better" to be exact.
  I always want to change whatever bad things that I have within me, it's easy to say that "I will change for the better",but deep inside me, I know it's not that easy to do so, because it takes time to change whatever it is that I want to change, whether it's a big matter or even how small it is.
  For 2012, I wanna put away everything that caused so much pain to me. I want to wear FORGIVENESS and JOLLINESS everywhere I go. I wanna inspire others to be positive all the time and I wanna learn how to conquer and pass through all my fears. I won't promise anything,but as much as "POSITIVENESS" is concern, I know I can make change happen not for the better but for the BEST.

"Keeping in Mind our Mother Tongue"

  By the time we started communicating with one another, we learned to give value and worth to our own dialect which is very important for every mankind, whether he is a Filipino or an American, etc.
  Our dialect represents our being. It signifies what place we belong and came from. It is very important, because aside from sign language, it is the only way we could communicate with one another. We should and must always keep in mind to be proud of our own dialect. As a sign of respect to our own country, we should use it wherever we go.
